hap

Hap started as a nickname in 2005. A cheap green tee-shirt with a yellow smiley emoji face mid chest. Under the face, the word “iHappy”. Starting with trumpet in the 6th grade and switching to bass guitar in the 9th. Music production came much later. Actually thanks to Covid 19 and the need to hermit, I began the path of music production from my closet studio. Teaching myself through YouTube and trial and error. Hence why the first album was titled "Research and Development".Blending the love for all music, Hap is hard pressed on choosing a genre. Music also comes in many forms. Often perceived differently by all ears. These tunes are a collection of a personal perspective of what sounds melodic, vibrant and catchy.

Collaborating and editing stock footage to go along with the music is another thing I am happy to say I did myself. One day being able to capture my own footage and putting my script to good use is a beautiful dream of mine.

Creation has always been deeply rooted in my existence and does seem like the reason I am here.

 

Hap eventually evolved to an acronym being Harmony Among Projections The projections being all the ideas or creations floating and flowing throughout this collective experience.
